Asylum Clinic

This clinic is held on an as-needed basis to support individuals seeking asylum due to experiences such as political persecution, gang violence, abuse, and other forms of trauma. During each session, a physician, medical student, and interpreter meet with the client to document and evaluate physical and psychological findings. The resulting medical affidavit is submitted by The University of Arizona College of Medicine Tucson’s Southern Arizona Asylum CUP Clinic to support the client’s legal case for asylum in the United States.
